More cast members for Spy have been confirmed.
As reported earlier, the lead characters of "Kancheop" will be portrayed by Kim Myung Min, veteran actor Byeon Hee Bong(변희봉 ) and actress Yeom Jeong Ah(염정아).

Byeon Hee Bong (변희봉 ) has appeared in countless popular movies and drama series, like SBS's My Girlfriend is a Gumiho. He also worked with Kim Myung Min before in MBC's Beyond the White Tower . Yeom Jeong Ah's (염정아) work include dramas like MBC's Royal Family or movie The Worst Man of my Life.

Now, additional cast members have been confirmed.

Jeong Gyeo Un (정겨운) had a leading role in 2012's highly popular SBS drama Salaryman, but he also played the lead role in last year's KBS drama Romance Town.

Yu Hae Jin (유해진) has filmed an impressive list of movies, and was last seen in Ma-ma and In Love and War.

Jeong Man Sik (정만식) appeared in a long list of well-known works of action and comedy, like currently airing drama The King 2 Hearts, movie Marrying the Mafia IV, and others.

Kancheop will mark the first big role for new actress Kim Jin Hee (김진희). Other actors, including the child actors who will portray the children of Kim Myung Min's character, are not confirmed yet.

Filming for Kim Myung Min's new movie will start on 6 April 2012, at Seoul's Eurjiro 乙支路 Avenue.

"Kancheop" is a movie about a spy fixed by North Korea in South Korea and other spies dispatched from North Korea.

Kim Myung Min will again work together with director Woo Min Ho (우민호), who already directed "Man of Vendetta" in 2010.

"Kancheop" will come to theatres in Korea in the second half of the 2012。

The site also contains a greeting by Kim Myung Min and further details about the company, like an organization chart.

This is the KMM's message as the CEO of MMEntertainment:

Kim Myung Min's New Movie is called "Kancheop"[간첩]

Kim Myung Min's new movie project is called "Kancheop"[간첩], which translates to "Spy". He will again work together with director Woo Min Ho, who already directed "Man of Vendetta" in 2010. "Kancheop" is distributed by Lotte Entertainment.

According to MMEntertainment, the movie will have its prayer ceremony on 24 March 2012. Filming will start on 06 April 2012. The locations for filming are going to cover various cities in Korea, like Seoul, Busan and Changwon.

Pacemaker Stage Greeting Events Yet to be Scheduled

"Pacemaker" stage greeting dates have not been decided yet. During stage greetings, the audience has the chance to interact with the actors, actresses and director of the movie.
The week of January 18 (Wednesday) to January 22 (Sunday) is the first week of the movie in the theatres.
It's planned to hold the stage greeting in movie theatres in Seoul and in Gyeonggi Province.
However, according to MM Entertainment, the precise dates, times, locations, name of theaters and other details are still undecided.
For the second week, there are plans for the actors and director to meet the audience in Busan and other cities, but the details of the events are also still open.

In Korea, the attendance volume of the public during the first week is very important for newly released movies. Pacemaker is one of the highly anticipated movies of the month, but it has to fight against strong opponents to win the audience's interest.

Beware of the Worms!

The camera is rolling for Yeongasi! The disaster movie recorded its first scenes on 13 November 2011. The filming location for the first shots was the Yeongdeok county in Gyeongsanbuk province. The area is famous for its crabs.

According to Kim Myung Min's management, filming will continue until end of February 2012.

Pacemaker Starts Final Spurt for Theatre Release

Pacemaker completed filming a in August and is currently in post-production.

According to Kim Myung Min's management, MyEntertainment, Pacemaker's production company Dream Capture Studios is aiming for a release in mid-January.

In Pacemaker, Kim Myung Min stars as a retired Marathon racer, who now works as a chicken fast food delivery man. He gets the chance of a life time becoming pacemaker for a talented, young marathoner and faces tough decisions because of his dream to complete a race.

Pacemaker still filming

It seems that Kim Myung Min's latest project is progressing slower as planned.

Filming for Pacemaker was supposed to be wrapped up by the end of July, but not all scenes have been completed yet.

MYEntertainment confirmed that filming for Pacemaker is still ongoing.

Under the circumstances, it's possible that the planned release date of early September will be pushed back to a later date.

Pacemaker is an inspiring and heartwarming story about Joo Man Ho (Kim Myung Min), a retired Olympic runner in his mid-thirties who gets scouted by the national team's marathon director Park Seong Il (Ahn Sung Ki) to pace for "genius marathoner", Min Yun Ki (Choi Tae Joon) at the upcoming Olympic games.

"Pacemaker" is back from London

Kim Myung Min and the rest of the cast and crew of movie Pacemaker are back in Korea last Tuesday, June 14th after a week of filming in Europe's most popular filming sites, London.

Majority of the scenes that were filmed in London were part of the London 2012 Olympic marathon race where Joo Man Hoo (Kim Myung Min) and Min Yun Ki (Choi Tae Jun) participate as representatives of the Republic of Korea.

Shooting started on Thursday, June 9 and ended on Monday, June 13. The first and last filming site is Greenwich Park, one of the United Kingdom's top film and drama locations. Hollywood stars like Pierce Brosnan, Harrison Ford, Daniel Day-Lewis and Angelina Jolie have previously filmed in the Park. One of the films that recently filmed there is Gulliver's Travels (2010). Several events of the 2012 London Olympics will also be held there.

Days 1 and 5 at Greenwich Park

Day 2 of filming took place at the part of London away from the familiar tourist sites - the historic London Docklands with its cobblestone streets and old brick buildings. The docks were formerly part of the Port of London known at one time as the world's largest port. Since filming took place at residential and commercial areas on a busy Friday, road closures and parking restrictions were implemented. However, the film crew were considerate and the locals were cooperative which contributed to smooth filming.

Day 2 at London Docklands

The City of London, the major business and financial center of London hosted the Pacemaker cast and crew on Saturday and Sunday (June 11th to 12th). Filming took place in an area surrounded by tall and famous buildings and skyscrapers, which is also a popular filming site to several Hollywood and British films. Shooting went well on Saturday with sunny skies, however London's rainy and unpredictable weather caused the filming crew to pack-up early on Sunday.

Day 3 and 4 atthe City of London

The 40 people strong Pacemaker team from Korea worked together with the staff of VIM Films, the counterpart production company in London. About 50 locals participated in the filming as extras.

In addition to Kim Myung Min and Choi Tae Jun, actors Ahn Sung Ji, who plays the role of cold-hearted marathon director Park Sung Il, and Go Ara, who takes the role of the beautiful and arrogant pole vaulter, Yoo Ji Won also participated in the London shoot.

"Pacemaker" is currently filming!

Pacemaker is an inspiring story about about a retired Olympic pacemaker (Kim Myung Min) who pursues his dream of running a full marathon. The movie is expected to finish filming in July. Expected release date is September 2011.
