Han Ji-min joins “Joseon Detective Jeong Yak-yong”

Han Ji-min (The Cut) will co-star alongside Kim Myung-min (Man of Vendetta) in Kim Seok-yoon’s period mystery film Joseon Detective Jeong Yak Yong: The Secret of Yulnyumoon.

The film is based on the novel “Secret of the Gate of Virtue,” and follows a detective’s investigation of a woman’s suicide.

Kim will play the titular detective and Han will play a “mysterious merchant.” Oh Dal-soo (Thirst) is signed on for a supporting role.

Joseon Detective Jeong Yak-yong began filming on the 2nd, and is scheduled for release early next year. [Dramabeans]
