Two kilos less: thanks to the broken rib

Did you notice that Kim Myung Min looks thinner than usual these days?

MY Entertainment confirmed that the actor has dropped two kilos from his last known weight of 67 kilos. The reason for this is the broken rib he sustained while filming his latest movie, Detective K.

The unfortunate incident occurred on November 1st at the MBC Yongin set when he was filming a mock martial arts fight scene. His opponent was a tall (190cms) and heavy (150 kilos) extra. As there was no action director to supervise the fight scene, the physical confrontation which was supposed to a "light" fighting scene led to the injury of the movie's lead actor. However, despite this, Kim Myung Min continues to film while taking pain medication.

Detective K also casts Oh Dal Su (Troubleshooter, 2010) Ha Ji Min (Cain and Abel, 2008) and Lee Jae Yong (Sungkyukwan Scandal, 2010). The movie targets to finish filming by the end of November and it aims for a January 27 release.
